Salisbury, Maryland – Homes4Hope is excited to announce that it has been given the opportunity to take over the operation of the Beyond Your Walls Shower Trailer.

Beyond Your Walls was founded by Leslie and George McGinnity in 2018. The shower trailer was designed to provide the unhoused population in the tri-county area with a warm shower and much-needed essentials. Leslie and George worked tirelessly to create community partnerships and support for their vision. Most importantly, Leslie, George, and their family worked hard to earn the trust of those who visited the shower trailer. Their love and commitment to the community was felt in every interaction.

This year, Leslie and George felt ready to pass the torch. They agreed that the right organization to carry on this program would be able to offer additional services needed in this population. They worked with Homes4Hope to ensure that mental health and addiction counseling would be offered to anyone utilizing the shower trailer regardless of their ability to pay. The McGinnitys entrusted Homes4Hope to continue the Beyond Your Walls mission, and they could not be more excited to begin offering this service to the tri- county community.

Homes4Hope has provided outpatient behavioral health treatment and residential
treatment programs in Salisbury, Maryland, since 2017. Their offices are located at 229 W. Main Street, Salisbury, MD 21801.
