Having the option to attend outpatient mental health therapy with Therapeutic Solutions was a game changer when I was a resident in Homes4Hope LLC’s house. Although I was given options to attend outpatient at other places, it felt good that the counselors at Therapeutic Solutions worked as a team with my counselors at the house for my benefit. I have played those games with counselors before – not being honest with everyone- and it only hurt me. This time was different.

I am grateful for the chance to live in their residential treatment houses and then in one of their recovery houses because the staff and other residents showed me how to support and be supported when days were hard.

Transitioning to a 3.1 program was not in my original discharge plan – I wanted to go home. Little did I know that this option would save my life. It only took a few days of being in the house for me to understand how important this step is to my long-term recovery. I would not be who I am today had I chosen to go home. Home to me means drugs and alcohol and the potential for crime. That is not what I want for my life.
